People are allowed their own opinion of a franchise or a game. Whilst we might disagree, its really not our choice as to the preferences of others. I myself find Killzone 3 to be a bore, sure nice graphics, but it doesn't have the gameplay to back it up. You'll disagree as we both do with Sanii's comment, but it doesn't make the statement true or false...
Capcom and Namco really need to start paying interest in their communities interests, this has the potential to be crowned Fighter of the Generation, but if if it doesn't have the correct roster of characters...
I can't help but find mysellf intrigued by this crossover, I just hope that it is dealt with with the utmost importance from either side.
"I am a Para-trooper, because that is a real occupation within the army, you can not shoot me because this is a cut-scene, I am landing..."
Are you joking, the fact they have developed a new engine alone places them 1000 steps ahead on Treyarch, nevermind creating a fantastic game, stunning graphics in a sandbox game, getting Hans Zimmer on board for the theme track and more.
Perhaps console, but not including the PC version of Crysis 1 and 2, they are the Kings overall. Plus Killzone brags Console graphics but doesnt have the gameplay to back it up.
Whilst I'm glad the Combat of the franchise is getting the update it so rightly needs, I'm worried that the sequel will loose the unique touch of the original. Prey was one of the most sophisticated, inteligent shooters I have ever played and it wasn't afraid to break the rules. You could be stood on a wall, shooting enemies on the roof and floor of th same room, you spend the entire game looking for your girlfriend (SPOILER ALERT) only to be forced to kill her. I'm just not h...
The fact that you have double disagrees to agrees show the level of denial on behalf of the Playstation 3 community of this site. The original Crysis is the best looking game around. Fact. Maybe Crysis 2 on DX11 might be able to compete...
One of the original Prototypes flaws was its graphics, the mutating city was another annoying touch as I much preffered to run around the human populated locations, however I hope the safe zone/ infected zones return as they made for some interesting soldier/mutant/alex battles. These screenshots bring me hope that the game has the potential to fix many of its predecessors flaws and I for one am going to keep an eye on this title...
Artistically speaking Kane & Lynch 2 was a fantastic title, it's just that its gameplay mechanics where that of a bogged down Third Person Shooter. It's story and characters where brilliant to watch play out and can hopefully be a contributing addition taken from the developers new experience made since Blood Money for future Hitman instalments. I'm not sure what I want appart from improved AI and more ingaging story, but being a HUGE fan of Third Person shooters and what with...
I'm looking forward to seeing what new AI Capabilities can contribute to the franchise. Hitman has always been a sophisticated franchise but when revisited years later it has become a frustration due to the over curiosity of the AI. Hopefully the next installment can bring us an even more naturalistic experience...
The question needs changing, people are so reliant on graphics these days, they need to be asking, "Is Crysis 2 the most fun Console First Person Shooter?".
You Sir, speak the truth. Just play the game, what do you accomplish from the knoledge your's or the others console has the better version? In the end, the PC Version wins graphically, we all know that...
I was initially happy with the aspect of Crysis coming to consoles, whilst I absolutely adored the original, the prospect of playing over LIVE was fantastic. However, what with the raging and the bitchy arguements surrounding the consolde versions, I wish the franchise had kept soley on the PC. I'm purchasing the PC version for the graphics and the 360 version for the multiplayer and I don't know about you, but as long as we have fun, thats all that matters primarily, so theres no poi...
After reading some more reviews it would seem the campaign is a hate/love situation.
Generic? How so?
Granted the franchise has been heavily reliant on the success of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, perhaps too much in the parody advertisements for the second installment. But in no way is the game generic, being able to design your characters appearence and clothing (Customisable Clothing), many attributes of the game are features I would very much like to see in Grand Theft Auto:
- Purchasing Stores for extra income
- Human Shields
- Follo...
Lets just wait for "Super Marvel vs Capcom 3 Turbo Ultra Mega Edition", hopefully THAT'll have the necesary characters:
- Colossus
- Juggernaut
- Wonderman
- Moonknight
- USAgent (Skin for Captain America if needs be)
High Voltage need more credit for this franchise. The Wii is MADE for FPS titles, yet few have stepped forward to do so...
I apologise to say, but I dont recall playing the game. Once I've finished my College work I'll make sure to look into the game...
The brutality of the game, despite being over-the-top, added to the somewhat darker aspects and themes dicussed within the game, and whilst the story is generic, I find that the beauty of the story is within its telling within the Missions, its not about saving the world from an evil tyrant, its about fighting for what is dear to you, and daling with the consequences on the path to accomplishing said task. Whilst the gory elements of the game can be percieved as "Cool", which they a...
What a shoddy article.
"Gears of War 3's Multiplayer will be a let down",
We've already seen gameplay and it looks sublime. Beta now less than a month away *Giggles* I'm so excited!
